"Medicare--What Does Our Crystal Ball Predict for the Next 3 - 5 Years?"
Nancy M. Kane is Professor of Management in the Department of Health Policy and Management and Associate Dean for Case-Based Teaching and Learning at the Harvard School of Public Health. She teaches in Executive and Masters Degree programs and directs the Masters in Healthcare Management Program, an executive leadership program created for mid-career physicians who lead healthcare organizations. She has won numerous teaching awards, including the ASPH-Pfizer Award for Teaching Excellence in 2011.
Dr. Kane's research interests include measuring hospital financial performance, quantifying the value and community benefits of tax exemption, analyzing the competitive structure and performance of hospital and insurance industries, nonprofit hospital governance, and the viability of safety-net providers.
Professor Kane consults with a wide range of federal and state agencies involved in health system design, oversight, and payment. Recently she completed two terms as a member of the Medicare Payment Advisory Commission, an agency that advises the U.S. Congress on issues affecting the Medicare Program.
Dr. Kane earned her Masters and Doctoral Degrees in Business Administration from Harvard Business School.

Special Patrons Category
As part of the Annual Meeting and Dinner scheduled for Thursday, April 9 2015, we are offering a Patrons category that would allow members to make a “voluntary” contribution of $200, which would include the cost of two dinners ($110) with the remaining balance of $90 representing a tax deductible contribution to the Harvard Club of Naples Schools & Education Fund, which is used to support the Club’s educational and charitable activities, including scholarships for Collier County undergraduates at Harvard, the summer fellowship and intern programs, and recently approved initiatives to benefit Harvard and the Naples community generally. For those not attending the dinner, the entire $200 contribution would be tax deductible. Patrons will have their names listed in the Dinner Program.We thank you for your support.
