About our hosts:
President and CEO Jack Mulvena and Director of Conservation Tim Tetzlaff
Jack Mulvena, who joined Naples Zoo in 2013 after two decades leading the Rhode Island Zoological Society and Roger Williams Park Zoo, brings a wealth of experience in zoo management and conservation leadership. Under his guidance, Naples Zoo has greatly expanded its role as a vital resource for the community including an extensive conservation education mission. Tim Tetzlaff, son of the Zoo's founders and a dedicated conservationist, collaborates with NGOs and government agencies to further conservation efforts and spends over a month each year in Africa. In addition to hosting the zoo’s safaris, his leadership roles include serving as Chair of the Madagascar Fauna and Flora Group, board member of the Giraffe Conservation Foundation, and President of the Florida Association of Zoos and Aquariums. Together, Jack and Tim will provide Harvard Club members with an in-depth understanding of the Zoo's global conservation efforts and Naples Zoo’s role in impactful change for the world’s most vulnerable species.
