The Harvard Club of Naples
Invites you to
A Tour of the Harry Chapin Food Bank
and Discussion with Senior Leadership
Thursday, February 13, 2025
10:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Join Ivy League colleagues for a tour of the Food Bank's operations and a lively discussion of its impact and its future.
The Harry Chapin Food Bank of Southwest Florida has served Southwest Florida since 1983. It is the primary source of food for most hunger relief in our area. The Food Bank feeds more than 250,000 people each month, directly and through a network of more than 175 independent organizations, such as St. Matthew's House, Meals of Hope, Our Daily Bread, Catholic Charities, and the Salvation Army. Demand for hunger relief has exploded in recent years; the Food Bank has set a bold course to meet the growing needs of our community.
The tour will begin at Food Bank's Naples Facility, followed by a luxury bus ride to its main facility in Fort Myers. You will tour the Fort Myers facility, and then participate in an exclusive discussion with its President, Richard LeBer (Past President of the Harvard Club), and leadership team, focused on the Food Bank’s impact and its plans for the future.
After the presentation, you will then be returned by bus to the starting point in Naples. There will be an optional opportunity to volunteer, packing food in Naples for the Food Bank.
Come see what it takes to care for so many, and engage in an exclusive and thought-provoking discussion of the Food Bank’s past and its future. You will be amazed.
