Making a Difference - Thanks to You!
Dear Harvard Club Members,
We are making an impact! Each year, the Harvard Club of Naples sponsors several local nonprofit CEOs and Executive Directors to attend executive education programs at Harvard Business School in Boston. These intensive courses give leaders the tools, insights, and connections they need to strengthen their organizations and better serve our community. This year we were able to sponsor 4 individuals:
  • Keith Laakkonen, Sanctuary Director of Audubon
  • Linda Goldfield, CEO of Youth Haven
  • Keith Maples, CEO of the Neighborhood Health Clinic
  • Angela Katz, Executive Director of LARC
Here's what they had to say about the experience:
"While it was challenging, it was one of the most rewarding experiences. The opportunity to learn from peers and Harvard's brightest was transformational."
"What a great week—challenging case studies and excellent professors guiding the discussions. Bringing back key takeaways and implementing them makes this grueling week well worth it."
"I am deeply grateful to the Harvard Club of Naples for awarding me the scholarship to attend Strategic Perspectives in Nonprofit Management. It was an extraordinary week of learning, reflection, and connection with nonprofit leaders from around the world."
"The program challenged me to think more strategically, strengthened my ability to address complex challenges, and gave me tools I can immediately put into practice. The diverse perspectives and faculty insights were truly inspiring."
We couldn't do this without you—our members! Thank you for your membership and support. You make this program—and its lasting impact in our community—possible. We look forward to continuing this and our other philanthropic programs alongside you.
With gratitude,
Peggy Lamb
President
Note: The Harvard Club of Naples awarded scholarships to Keith Laakkonen and Angela Katz, and sponsored Keith Maples and Linda Goldfield (whose participation was funded by their respective organizations).
