Reinhold Schmieding is the Founder and CEO of Arthrex, a global leader in orthopedic surgical devices headquartered in Naples, Florida. With over 40 years of experience, he has spearheaded the development of thousands of innovative surgical products and holds more than 150 patents. Schmieding founded Arthrex in 1981 in Germany and relocated it to Naples in 1991, growing it from a small startup to a major medical device company with worldwide reach. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Physiology from Michigan State University and is recognized for his commitment to innovation and medical education.
