Heidi Miller, Ph.D., retired as president of international for JP Morgan Chase & Company in 2012. Prior to that appointment, she served as CEO of JPMorgan Chase’s treasury and security services, leading 35,000 people in 50 countries. Miller also served as executive vice president and chief financial officer for Bank One Corporation. She has held other CFO positions, including at the Travelers Group and later at Citigroup.
In addition to serving on the board of Artis-Naples since 2018 and as chair since 2023, Miller's nonprofit service includes 10 years on the board of Conservation International, a global NGO, and 15 years on the Princeton University board and endowment board—including tenures as the finance chair for both organizations. She also served on the boards of NYU Medical Center and the Children’s Defense Fund.
Miller currently serves as a board member and governance committee chair for FISERV Inc. and serves on the board of directors at Waystar, a private company in the healthcare space. Prior public company boards that Miller served on include Merck, HSBC, Progressive Insurance and General Mills. She is a financial advisor to EQT, a global private investment company, and serves portfolio companies there.
Miller was featured in American Banker’s Most Powerful Women, ranking from 2003 to 2010, and was No. 1 on the banking list from 2007 to 2009. In 2008, she topped Crain’s list of the 50 Most Powerful Women in New York. Miller graduated from Princeton University with a bachelor’s degree in history and completed her doctorate in Latin American history at Yale University in 1979. She lives in Naples, Florida, and Greenwich, Connecticut.
