What happens when two very different couples meet over cocktails, private-school politics, and one coveted silent-auction item? Let the bidding—and the hilarity—begin!
Fresh from the theater’s 2025 Next Wave Festival, this sharp, timely, and heartfelt new comedy follows Robin and Paul, who invite Amy and Bernard to their mansion before a fundraiser for the private school their daughters attend. It doesn’t take long for differences in personalities, priorities, and tax brackets to emerge. But when all four set their sights on the same auction prize, things get deliciously competitive.
Written by the playwright behind The Refugees, this World Premiere promises an evening of wit, uncomfortable truths, and plenty of laughs.
